This drawing comes from the lovely Caracal! I anticipate having more drawings of Tazz than of Zaya and Karill because I put several requests out at once, expecting maybe one response. I'll have to change that haha.

Meet The Characters: Karill and Zaya
Meet the two main characters, Karill Satul and Zaya Pyrek. Karill is the villain. Zaya is the hero. The artist who drew this did an incredible job.

The Mandatory Introduction: Stolen and Edited From 2010
Hello you! *points* Yes, you there, sitting in front of your computer screen with the weird look on your face. Welcome to my blog dedicated solely to the novel I shall write for NaNoWriMo. What is NaNoWriMo, you ask? NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, a month of literary abandon known as November, or, the Month of Mass Turkey Consumption.
During this month, the goal of each participant is to sit their butts down and scrawl, type, carve, or dictate a 50,000 word novel that will eventually be submitted to the NaNoWriMo website for some such award and the satisfaction that said participant will have shelled out a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Sounds like a lot of work, yes? Well you're write. Er, right. Ahem. So enough talk about what NaNoWriMo is. Onto more about this blog!
This blog will cover the thirty days of writing that NaNoWriMo 2011 encompasses and the period of editing that shall follow. I will post word counts, fun facts, helpful tips and links, character/banner/cover art, and the occasional blurb so you can see how horrendous--er, fabulous--my writing is. Let us begin with my synopsis:
After a run-in with Cretak's infamous Lieutenant General Karill Satul, Zaya Pyrek is captured and forced into servitude for the enemy. Struggling to adapt to a new culture of power, wealth, and corruption, Zaya must plot her escape without becoming a pawn in Karill's secretive plans. With a bitter war taking place, will she be able to escape Cretak's treacherous walls? Or will she be seduced by forbidden love?
Interested? I certainly hope so. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to write a professional synopsis without giving everything away? Pfft.
